Respect My Authority

Sometimes I look up to the people who has more power than me, because they could support me into doing stuff that I stuff that I didn't think i could do. For example last year I was in art one and there is this new class called AP art studio I wasn't sure if I join it because I didn't think I was a very good artist. But, my art  teacher encouraged me to join that class and I look up to her because she is super nice, great at art and funny too. If it wasn't for her I would't  even try it.

My Aeries

On Friday in my English class we did our essays durning class. I was kinda nervous when I began the essay in my opinion I think I am not that great of a writer. While I was doing my essay  I kinda got lost but I had some with the notes I took the day before. When the time was up I turned it in and hoping that I get a good grade. Today I  received my essay graded and I got a B- I am so happy with my grade but next time I will try even harder to get an A.

Literature Analysis Questions #1

1. The novel I read is "Out of the Dust". It is about a little girl named Billie Joe. Before she was born her father wanted a boy instead of a girl. So, he taught and named her like a boy until she was turning nine years old her father stopped trying to pretend that she is a boy. The story takes place during the Great Depression. The character Billie Joe loved playing piano, she is very tall and thin as paper with blond hair. Later on in the story her mother passes away and her new born brother. Her mother died because hot oil spelled on her and her baby brother died for the same reason too. At the time that her mom was burn she burn her hands trying to throw away the oil. At the moment she couldn't play the piano anymore. That's the part I am at and I will read more and keep you updated.

2. I am not very sure what is the theme yet but I will post what I believe the theme is

3. But, when I read the book I think that the author was born or had a family that was in the Great Depression. Also listens to classical music and I could believe she know how to play the piano.

4. I honestly honestly don't know what are the literary terms in the novel but once as I find out it will be in the post as well.

My Responds to Richard Cory

It was an interesting poem because it was about a man name Richard Cory. He had everything such as clothing, house, education basically rich. Everyone wanted to be him I would want to be him too because he had everything. But, it doesn't mean he was the happiest man in the poem said that he killed himself with a shotgun on his head. The poem had so much meaning he just committed suicide. Probably the reason is he felt lonely there could be many reasons why he did that even though he had everything and everyone wanted to be him. Maybe money isn't always happiest.
